Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter-1 stick=(1/2 cup or 8 tbsp)
- Powder sugar-1/2 or 3/4 cup
- Eggs-2
- Self-rising flour or all-purpose-flour-1 cup
- Baking powder-11/2 tsp
- Vanilla extract-1 tsp
- chopped nuts-2 tbsp
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees c.
- Now take a muffins or cupcake pan and line with paper baking cups.
- In a large bowl add butter which is at room temperature and sugar until soft and fluffy with a electric or hand mixer.
- Then add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Slowly add flour and mix on low speed until mixed.
- fill the liners with batter just 1/2 full.
- Add chopped nuts on the top of 1/2 filled liners.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 18 to 20 mins.Check from 15 mins on wards.
- When cupcakes are done, place them on a cooling rack.
- You can decorate the cupcakes with frosting or leave as it is, and store them in a airtight container.
