Raw plantain(raw banana) 1 
Besan 1 cup 
Onions(chopped)1 cup  
All purpose flour  1 tsp 
Cooking soda  3 pinches 
Ajwain(vamu) 1 tsp 
Red chilli powder 1 tsp 
Salt & water As needed 

Puffed Rice or maramaralu

This is very Fast and easy to prepare .Stuffing plantain bajji or Aratikaya Bajji with Onion,cilantro, puffed rice and lemon gives a nice taste.Everyone going to loves this recipe.This snack goes nice with cold weather..
How to prepare Plantain Bajji:-
  • In a bowl mix basan flour, all purpose flour, cooking soda, ajwani or vamu, salt and chill powder and mix well.
  • Now to this add enough water and make it as thin batter like as pan cake batter. Don’t make it too thin because it won’t stick to the banana slices.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, maintain heat to medium flame.Now dip the plantain slices one by one into the batter, and then drop them slowly into the hot oil.Mean while turn the bajji's up and down to get cooked bajji fully both inside and out side and fry till they are golden brown.
