Here im with a curry item with a snack item..Boondi Curry is a rich flavored curry preparation from the Andhra cuisine. Learn how to make/prepare Boondi Curry by following this easy recipe.There are two varieties sweet and salted variants in boondi.
Ingredients:-
- Boondi(plain or masala)-2 cups(home made boondi or by in stores)
- Onion-1 big
- Green chillies-3
- Ginger garlic paste-(if used plain boondi)-1/2 tsp
- Tomato-1 chopped
- Curry leaves-2 sping
- Chopped coriander-1/2 cup
- Oil-1 tbsp
- Water-2 cups
- Garam masala-1 pinch
- Turmeric powder-1 pinch
- Red chilli powder-1/2 tea spoon(tsp)
- Salt-To taste
How to prepare:-
- chop onions into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add oil, when oil heated add chopped anion and green chillies, fry till they are golden brown co lour.
- Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, fry till the raw smell of ginger garlic paste leaves.
- Add red chilli powder,curry leave and salt (already salt would be added while preparing boondi hence, take care while adding salt in the curry). Stir so that all ingredients are mixed well together
- add chopped tomatoes saute for few more mins and add garam masala powder.
- Add water, cover and let it cook for 5-9 minutes.Once all the water is evaporated, check if onions and tomatoes are cooked.
- Add chopped coriander.
- serve hot with Rice or chapathi.
