Ingredients:
- Big channa(chick pies)-200gms
- Channa massala Powder-11/2 tbsp
- Ginger Garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Chilli powder-1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
- Oil-3 tbsp
- Green chillies-2
- Salt-To taste
- Lime-1
- Onion-2
- Whole garam masala-few
- Coriander leaves-chopped
- Coriander powder-1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds-few
- Soak channa over night in water.
- Pressure cook chole.Drain the water.
- Chop tomatoes,green chillies.Blend tomatoes and green chillies to make a puree .
- Now heat the oil in a deep bottom pan,heat the oil ,add cumin seeds and garam masala.
- Once cumin seeds changes its colour,add ginger garlic paste fry for 2min.
- Now add tomato puree,chana masala,chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder.Cook on a medium flame.
- Once the mixture start leaving the oil add Chole and add 1/2 cup of water.
- Cook on a medium flame for 10 mins with covered lid.
- If need add little more water to get right consistency.Cook for few more mins.
- Garnish with coriander.
