Lemon rice is a tasty and fast dish that you can make very quickly  in mins and very easily you can make with less ingredients.This is one of my favourite dish.





Ingredients:-

Rice- 2 cups
lemons- big 3
Tsp Chana Dal(Senaga Pappu )-2 table spoon
Urad Dal(Mina Pappu)-1 tsp
Mustard Seeds(Avalu )-1tsp
Cumin Seeds (Jelakara)-1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves (Karvepaaku )
Turmeric Powder( Pasupu)-1/2 tbs
Green Chillies Slit Vertically-10
Peanuts Pallilu)-5 tsp
cashews-3 tsp
Pinch Asafoetida( Inguva)
Dried Red Chillies-3or4
Tsp Oil-5 tsp
Salt to taste

DirectionsPick, wash and soak rice for about thirty minutes. Drain and then boil in plenty of boiling salted water until almost done. Drain and keep aside
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add, peanuts, chana dal, urad dal, red chile , cashews, mustard seed, and green chile, to the hot oil , allowing each item to cook briefly Cook until dals change colour to light brown.then add curry leaves. Mix turmeric powder in this. Stir fry for half a minute. Add cooked rice, salt and lemon juice.
Garnish with coriander .
